SWAT Situation With Barricaded Subject Ends Peacefully

UPDATE: The SWAT situation had been peacefully resolved and the suspect had been taken into custody.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CMPD’s SWAT team responds to an armed barricaded subject in south Charlotte.

Authorities are on the scene to Woodlawn Road.

The intersection of Woodlawn Road and Scaleybark Road will be closed.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and motorist should seek alternate routes.
