Man Arrested In Connection To Triple Murder In Maiden
MAIDEN, NC – Three people are dead and one person is in custody after a triple shooting in Maiden, NC.Β
Police responded to a home on PJ McCree Road around 7:30pm Tuesday.
Investigators found 28-year-old Jenna Cox, 61-year-old Cyndi Cox and 61-year-old Charles Cox all dead.
AΒ child was also there – but was not hurt.
About 40 minutes later – police pulled over and arrested 27-year-old Issac Christenbury along Maiden Highway.
He’s facing three counts of first degree murder.Β
Investigators believe the murders happened after a dispute between Christenbury and Jenna Cox.Β They believe the two had dated in the past.
Christenbury was taken before a magistrate and is being held without bond in the Catawba County Detention Center.
