MORGANTON, N.C. – The city of Morganton hosted Halloween Spooktacular for the residents of the city. The event included activities like trick-or-treating, a Halloween carnival and a costume contest among others. This was offered as a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating after Hurricane Helene damage blocked sidewalks and streets.
