Suspect Wanted In Monroe Shooting

MONROE, N.C. – Monroe Police are searching for a suspect that was involved in a shooting on Halloween night that left one person seriously injured.

Around 8:45 p.m., police responded to the Icemorlee apartment complex in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 29-year-old Brandon Williams in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.

He received CPR at the scene and was later transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said Williams and the suspect were involved in an argument in the parking lot. The two exchanged gunfire and Williams was shot.
