Starlink Satellite Captured Breaking Up Over The Southwest

SpaceX Starlink-4682 internet satellite burned up over the southwest over the weekend

Witnesses across parts of the southwestern United States saw what they thought was a fireball in the sky over the weekend.

According to Astronomer and Orbital Debris Expert, Jonathan McDowell, that ‘fireball’ was actually SpaceX Starlink-4682 Internet Satellite reentering Earth’s atmosphere.

These satellites are designed to burn up as they reenter Earth’s atmosphere to reduce space debris.
