FORT MILL, S.C. – One person died following a single-vehicle crash in Fort Mill overnight, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 1:11 a.m. on Regent Parkway near the intersection of Charterhouse Lane, approximately four miles north of Fort Mill.
Troopers said a BMW sedan was traveling west on Regent Parkway when it traveled off the left side of the road before striking a tree and overturning.
The driver was the sole occupant and died at the scene as a result of their injuries.
The highway patrol is still investigating this incident. The name of the deceased has not been released.
