Annual Light Up Lenoir event is this Thursday

LENOIR, N.C. – The annual Light Up Lenoir holiday event is this Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, in Downtown Lenoir, NC. Visitors will enjoy Christmas lights, live music from local schoolchildren, and shopping at Lenoir’s local businesses.

Santa Claus will be on the square and available for photographs. Event organizers say the school performances will run from 5:00 to 7:30 pm on the Downtown Stage. The City will light the Christmas tree at City Hall at 7:45 pm. Organizers say they have also added more holiday decorations this year.
