CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Atrium Health will soon open its newest emergency department, Atrium Health Ballantyne, a facility of Atrium Health Pineville. Conveniently located at the intersection of Johnston Road and Lancaster Highway, this state-of-the-art facility will offer 24-hour emergency care close to home for the growing communities of Ballantyne and nearby areas, including South Carolina.
From broken bones and severe cuts to life-threatening conditions, such as heart attacks and strokes, every second counts in a medical emergency. The Atrium Health Ballantyne emergency department will provide care by board-certified emergency medicine doctors and offer quick access to the region’s only Level I trauma center at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, as well as a direct connection to hospital care at Atrium Health facilities, such as physical rehabilitation, cancer care and other services.
