Police: Man Kidnapped, Stabbed Multiple Times In Maiden

MAIDEN, N.C. — Police say a man was kidnapped and stabbed numerous times in Maiden.

Investigators say the victim was found lying in a cul-de-sac and was suffering from multiple knife wounds.  The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Charlotte where he underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries.

The victim told investigators that he was kidnapped at gunpoint from a location just off I-40 near the Catawba County and Iredell County line.

The victim told investigators the suspects took cash, his laptop and other personal items.  He was reportedly told to drive to different locations before he was eventually ordered the stop the vehicle and then attacked.

Police say the victim is in his early sixties.  Police say the suspects are described as white males in their late twenties to early thirties.  One is described as a white male of medium build, having reddish blonde hair with a slightly receding hairline, the other is described as a white male of medium build with dark hair.
