CHARLOTTE, NC — Grab your pets and come on out Saturday, May 13th to take part in CMPD Animal Care & Control’s PrepareAthon.
The event will take place from 8am to noon at CMPD AC&C at 8315 Byrum Drive. Officials say the event is dedicated to making sure pets and animals are prepared in the event of an emergency.
Rabies vaccinations, microchips, collars and ID tags, breakfast, and pet emergency kit supplies will be available for FREE to Mecklenburg County residents thanks to various donations and grants.
Anyone wishing to get the rabies vaccinations and microchips must be in line by 11am.
So this Saturday, CMPD AC&C invites you to be smart, take part, and get your furry friends prepared.
