UPDATE: Officials say the missing child has been found.

CHARLOTTE, NC — There is a large police presence in west Charlotte as officers, helicopters, and K-9 units search for a missing child.
According to officials, the child was reported missing around 8pm Thursday. The search is underway on Westcliff Drive near Freedom Drive. Officials have set up a command center on Marble Street.
