Community comes together to shine light on patients inside Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –On Thursday, Dec. 5, Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital invites the community to shine a light on the hospital to spread love and support to the patients and their families inside during the holiday season.

The events begins at 7 p.m.

During this annual event named “Lights for Levine Children’s,” the crowd will shine flashlights and the patients will shine lights back. This is an evening of light, love and a lot of fun. There will be speakers, refreshments, visits from local sports mascots and an area to make cards for kids in the hospital.

Eight-year-old cancer patient, Jack Foresman, will also lead the crowd in the singing of ‘Twinkle,Twinkle, Little Star,’ as they shine their lights.
