CMPD & Other Local Law Enforcement Honor Fallen Officers In Washington, DC
WASHINGTON, DC — CMPD officers and other local law enforcement are in Washington this weekend to honor officers nationwide who have died in the line of duty.
More than 2,000 riders joined the officers on their bike ride to DC. Today they added 394 names to the police memorial, and tomorrow night they will hold a candlelight vigil in their memory.
This year’s ride also honors CMPD Officers Sean Clark and Jeff Shelton who were killed in the line of duty 10 years ago.
