CHARLOTTE, NC – Over a three-day span, Dec. 10 – 12, Spectrum will join community leaders to award grants and donations to several Charlotte area community organizations.
The three days of giving align with Spectrum’s three pillars of Community Impact, which focus on the following:
- Key Human Services – organizations that provide critical human services and workforce
development. - Small Business Support – supporting small businesses with training and resources to strengthen
their communities. - Digital Inclusion – linking underserved communities to essential technology, digital education,
and other resources to improve their lives.
Spectrum Community Center Assist, Spectrum Digital Education and Spectrum Employee Community Grants, are three of the company’s signature corporate philanthropic programs at Charter
Communications, Inc. — which operates the Spectrum brand of connectivity products and services. Spectrum will present awards from each of these programs, as well as others, throughout the week.
“We appreciate the dedication and work of all of our nonprofit partners, as they are instrumental in
helping us provide support for the families and individuals in the Charlotte community,” said Rahman
Khan, Group Vice President, Community Impact, at Spectrum. “Through our many donations this week,
we’re building stronger communities where our customers and employees live and work.”“Spectrum is going the extra mile to give back to communities they serve,” said Charlotte Mayor Vi
Lyles. “This support from Spectrum is a fantastic investment in families in the Charlotte area. It will go a
long way and I’m excited to see the great impact these programs provide to our community.”
