UPDATE: Medic says that one person has been treated for life threatening injuries and is being taken to Novant Health Huntersville.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Medic is responding to a drowning call at Latta Plantation and Mountain Island Lake on Sample Road.
Medic tweeted around 2:30pm that they were assisting Long Creek and Huntersville Fire Departments in response to the call.
Long Creek Fire says that the incident was reported as a jet ski accident. Medic says they are currently on scene and are attempting to revive the victim.
We have a crew on the way and are working to get more information.
