Police hold annual “Shop with a Cop” in Gastonia
GASTONIA, N.C. – 35 children from our community got the chance to shop with a cop in Gastonia.
Each child paired up with a Gastonia police officer with $300 to spend on gifts of their choice at Target.
Police Chief Trent Conard says it’s one of the most rewarding events of the year, giving officers a chance to connect with the community and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
City Church and the Gastonia Police Foundation are part of the group who sponsored this year’s shopping spree.
