ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police say a man accused of shooting into a vehicle that had a three-year-old inside has been taken into custody.
Investigators say D’nique Gregory fired shots into a vehicle outside a barber shop on Crawford Road. Several people were inside the vehicle, including the child. No injuries were reported.
Gregory was located a few days later on Carroll Street and was taken into custody by officers with the Rock Hill Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.
Gregory has been charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a vehicle while occupied, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, malicious injury to personal property, resisting arrest and unlawful carrying of weapon.
