Police Hope Billboard Will Lead To Tips In 7-Year-Old’s Unsolved Murder

SALISBURY, NC — Police are hoping a new billboard will generate tips in the unsolved murder of a 7-year-old girl.

Police say 7-year-old A’Yanna Allen was murdered nearly six months ago, and they are still trying to catch her killer. The billboard will have A’Yanna’s picture, and will let people know about the $20,000 reward.

The billboard is scheduled to go up soon on the corner of South Main Street and West Jake Alexander Boulevard.

According to reports, A’Yanna was asleep in her bed when someone fired shots into her family’s home on Harrel Street back in December.
