STATESVILLE, N.C. (News release) – The American Red Cross will hold its 36th Annual Masonic Community Blood Drives from Wednesday, January 8, through Friday, January 17, 2025.
This year, the blood drives will be held at the following times and locations:
- Wednesday, January 8, from 1 to 6 p.m.
North Iredell Masonic Lodges
Snow Creek 571, 558 Dobson Farm Rd - Thursday, January 9, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mooresville Masonic Lodges
Heritage House, 494 E Plaza Dr - Friday, January 10, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Statesville Masonic Lodges
Statesville Civic Center, 300 S Center St - Rowan County Masonic Lodges
Salisbury Masonic Lodge, 401 N Fulton St - Friday, January 10, from 1 to 6 p.m.
Hickory Masonic Lodge
30 Catawba Valley Blvd SE
- Friday, January 17m from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Lee Masonic 253 Lodge
Alexander County Senior Center, 730 7th St SW - Friday, January 17, from 1 to 6 p.m.

“This drive was founded on the premise of creating a community outreach that would impact the lives of our families, friends, and neighbors. Some thirty-six years later, hundreds of mason volunteers and thousands of donors have saved tens of thousands of lives through this drive,” said Duane Smyth, member of the Masonic Community Blood Drive Committee.
According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs donated blood, and one pink of donated blood can save up to three lives.
All donors will receive a free commemorative t-shirt and freshly baked cookies, while supplies last.
