CHARLOTTE, NC — A young teen is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle Friday afternoon.
The accident happened around 5:15pm on Griffith Street and S. Tryon Street in south Charlotte. Witnesses say the victim, described as a middle school aged male, did not seem to be watching for traffic when he tried to run across the street.
Officials say the teen was taken to CMC with life threatening injuries.
