Police Arrest Suspect In Salisbury Murder

UPDATE: Police have arrested 31-year-old Frankie Cox, Jr. in connection to the murder on N. Ellis Street Saturday night.

Cox was arrested at an apartment complex on E. Lafayette Street  around 2:15pm Wednesday. According to reports, Cox surrendered to police without incident and was taken into custody.

Cox is charged with the murder of Timothy Grady. His first appearance is scheduled for Thursday.

SALISBURY, N.C. — Salisbury Police are looking for a man in connection with a shooting death that occurred on Saturday night.

Frankie Cox Jr.

Police say Frankie Eugene Cox Jr., 31,  is wanted for the shooting death of Timothy Grady at Cox’s residence on N. Ellis Street.

The suspect and victim are acquaintances according to police.
