Charlotte Fire responds to south Charlotte apartment fire
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – There is no word yet about what sparked an apartment fire in south Charlotte.
It happened around eight Wednesday night in the 6600 block of Wisteria Drive. That’s off South Boulevard.
Charlotte Fire Officials say when they got there, heavy smoke was coming from the building. They tell our crew on the scene that the fire was on the upper floor of one of the units.
It took 30 firefighters 22 minutes to get the fire under control. No one got hurt. Smoke did damage two neighboring apartments.
