Building Evacuated In Uptown Charlotte Following Bomb Threat

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A building in Uptown Charlotte was evacuated after police responded to a bomb threat.

Investigators say the incident happened just before 9:30am Tuesday morning at 525 North Tryon Street which is at the intersection of 9th Street.

Police say nothing suspicious was found after a thorough search of the building by a bomb dog, the fire department and several other agencies.

No arrests have been made at this time, however, police say the investigation is ongoing.
