Concord mom seeking help after accidentally gluing her eye shut

CONCORD, NC — A Concord mom accidentally glued her eye shut.
The woman’s daughter says – her mom wears contacts and she grabbed the nail glue instead of the eye drops.
She put the glue in one of her eyes; the other eye she keeps closed according to family due to sensitivity.
The mother ended up having to go to the hospital.
She has visited a doctor several times…But they are not able to get the glue out of her eye.
It has to remain shut for 5-7 weeks.
