Julie Eiselt Holds Development Town Hall

CHARLOTTE, NC — One Charlotte city leader is working to address the concerns of people living in a rapidly-growing city.

Tuesday, City Council member at-large Julie Eiselt held a town hall meeting at UNC Charlotte’s uptown campus. About 30 people gave input to city planners and developers.

“We hear from neighborhood groups all over town, ‘Oh my gosh, I had no idea this was gonna come in our neighborhood. We knew we were living near a commercial area, but we didn’t know that’s what would happen,'” said Eiselt.

After Tuesday night’s meeting, people had a chance to talk one-on-one with developers and learn about changes in their neighborhoods.
