Suspects Wanted For Crashing Into Pawn Shop, Stealing Weapons

MATTHEWS, NC — Police are looking for the suspects who crashed their SUV into a pawn shop before taking off with multiple guns.

According to reports, the suspects crashed a blue Ford Expedition into the front door of Beltway Gun and Pawn shortly after 2:30am Monday. Police say, surveillance showed two suspects getting out of the vehicle, stealing multiple firearms, then taking off.

The owner of the store says the suspects stole eight shotguns. The main damage was structural, says the owner, but the shop has reopened following the incident.
