MOORESVILLE, NC– Police charged a man with murder after they say he ran over another man with his vehicle then fled the scene Saturday.
Reports say Davidson Christopher Hollister, 23, was at a party Saturday on Brook Glen Drive in Mooresville with the victim when witnesses reportedly saw the two men fighting over a female.
Witnesses stated that Hollister and the victim exchanged words when leaving the party and Hollister left in a truck and the victim left on foot.
Police say Hollister proceeded to run over the victim with his vehicle and then left the scene of the accident.Hollister was taken into custody and charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Felony Hit and Run.
