CHARLOTTE, NC – Medic and the Charlotte Fire Department have reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), extending the current First Responder agreement for six months.
In a post on social media, Medic says the MOU will give both agencies time to redefine the role that CFD plays as a first responder in the EMS system in Mecklenburg County and any impact it has on Medic and service delivery.
