β€œTo position Lowe’s for the future in an ever-changing retail environment, we must effectively leverage the talents of our diverse, global workforce by aligning the right resources in the right places to deliver on our strategy. After a careful review of our global capabilities, we made the difficult decision to eliminate approximately 125 IT positions, primarily from our Mooresville office.

We will provide support to help our impacted employees make the transition to new employment, including competitive severance pay and access to outplacement resources.

Following today’s actions, Lowe’s will remain one of North Carolina’s top three largest employers. As we look to the future, we will continue to evaluate where we invest technology resources to support the changing needs of customers.”
