CMPD Holds Forum To Help Build Community Relationships

CHARLOTTE, NC — Thursday night CMPD held a community forum to work on building relationships in the community.

The event was held at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. It focused on the Criminal Investigations Bureau, which is made up of eight units.

Major Cam Selvey says it’s important for people to know what detectives do on a daily basis.

This is the second of four community meetings involving the CIB. The units cover everything from domestic violence to cyber and financial crimes.
