A winter storm brought a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain to the region on Friday.
After 1,077 days, Charlotte did manage to break the longest measurable snow drought on record.
As of Saturday morning, the wintry weather has moved out of the area.
Slide through the gallery to see snow photos submitted across the Carolinas from the winter storm on January 10.
We ran a contest for the best wintry photo and our winner is J. Akers from Statesville, NC!
