Myrtle Beach Shooting Streamed Live On Facebook

MYRTLE BEACH, SC — At least seven people are recovering after a shooting in Myrtle Beach over the weekend.

The entire ordeal was broadcast on Facebook live by a person staying in the area. Police say it started as a fight on Ocean Boulevard, near the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.

In the video, you can see and hear shots being fired as people scatter and flee for cover. A security officer fired several shots and hit the gunman, but he still managed to steal a car and take off.

Officers say the suspect was eventually caught.
