CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mecklenburg County District Attorney Andrew Murray is being considered for the position of U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.
A statement was released from the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office Monday statingΒ DA Andrew Murray met with his staff Monday afternoon to confirm that he is being considered for the position but he cannot comment further at this time.
Murray became the district attorney in Mecklenburg County in 2011. Β Murray has been practising law in Mecklenburg CountyΒ since 1992.
