Two Arrested For Using And Selling Drugs At Troutman Home
TROUTMAN, NC — Narcotic investigators arrested two suspects Tuesday after finding over 30 used heroin needles and other heroin related items inside their home.
Sara Luffman, 41, and David Brooks, 38, were both arrested at their home on Vegas Lane. According to investigators, the two had been using and selling illegal drugs at the home.
According to reports, over 30 used needles and other drug paraphernalia consistent with heroin use was found inside. Deputies also found two juveniles living in the home, and called Iredell County DSS to help with the investigation.
Both Luffman and Brooks were charged with Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Vehicle, Dwelling or Place to Sell Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Luffman was also charged with two counts of Child Abuse.
Officials say Brooks had previous convictions for Resisting a Public Officer, Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
