LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A Lincoln County woman has been arrested after stabbing a man during a domestic dispute.
Connie Lynn Morgan, 51, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.
She was placed placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center on a no hold bond.

Deputies responded to a call on Car Farm Road just after midnight and located a man suffering from a stab wound to the stomach in a back room.
The victim, John Alford, said he walked into the bedroom and Morgan stabbed him in the stomach with a pocket knife after they had been arguing over a truck with a blown motor.
Alford was transported to Caramont-Gaston Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
