Burke County, N.C. — A Morganton man has been arrested after leading authorities on a chase across two counties.
According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Allen Jubin, 29, was taken into custody by Caldwell County deputies following a pursuit which began in Burke County.

The Burke County Narcotics Task Force was investigating drug activity on Mill Race Road in Morganton, when a white Nissan Maxima ran a stop sign.
When investigators tried to stop the vehicle, Jubin fled and continued into Caldwell County, before jumping out of the vehicle and running.
Jubin was arrested and charged with Flee to Elude Arrest, Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle, and Assault on a Government Official. He was given a $100,000 secured bond .
