CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is offering a free fan to help senior citizens stay cool this summer.
Seniors, ages 59 and older, can pick up a fan starting Friday, June 30th, and are asked to bring a driverβs license or state identification card providing proof of age and current Mecklenburg County address.
Each senior can have one fan.
A grant from Duke Energy provided the fans.
