CMPD investigating homicide in northeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — A person was shot and killed in north east Charlotte Wednesday night.

Medic says it happened on Catalina Avenue near the intersection of W. 28th Street.

The victim was pronounced dead on scene.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the shooting as a homicide.
