CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened in south Charlotte on Thursday night, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. on East Woodlawn Road near South Boulevard.
East Woodlawn Road between the 300 and 400 block is shut down while police investigate. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
