CMPD: Shots fired in neighborhood as kids get home from school

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Home surveillance video appears to show the moment when shots are fired in a west Charlotte neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. It happened just as kids were getting home from school around 2PM on Reid Oaks Drive.

Police were focusing their attention on a car that crashed into a fire hydrant. CMPD has not said if they have made any arrests. Medic says they did not treat anyone for injuries.
