EDGE On The Clock: Officials Are Warning Parents About The Blue Whale Challenge

CHARLOTTE, NC — Parents are being warned about an alleged social media ‘game’ called the Blue Whale Challenge that encourages young players to harm themselves and eventually commit suicide.

A family in Texas says their 15-year-old child died over the weekend because of the challenge. The teen was found hanging in his closet with his phone propped up next to him to broadcast his suicide.
