Deputies arrest 2 on drug charges

MORGANTON, N.C. – Burke County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men on drug-related charges following a search warrant in Morganton on Friday.

Deputies were serving a warrant at Steven Crockford’s house in Morganton. They say they found digital scales, small plastic baggies, syringes, glass pipes, and straws.

Deputies also arrested Crockford’s tenant, 56-year-old Adrian Wiggins. They say he had meth and fentanyl.

Both men received a $50,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
