MONROE, NC – Video from a surveillance camera shows a burglary suspect inside a home in Monroe, now police are asking for help to identify the man.

The burglary happened at a home on Wind Chime Court around 9:30pm on Friday, February 8, 2025.

The homeowner, who was not there, got an alert from his camera system that someone was inside his home and he called police.

Officers arrived within minutes, but the burglar had already gone. The man was wearing a tee shirt with the words “Game Recognize Game” written on the back.
