Carowinds hosting week-long hiring event to find 2,500 seasonal workers

CHARLOTTE, NC – Carowinds plans to hire more than 2,500 seasonal workers for the 2025 season.

The park is hosting a week-long hiring event from February 15th to the 22nd as it prepares for opening day on March 15, 2025.

Hourly pay will range up to $16 for candidates, depending on experience, prior service and position.

Employees receive discounts on park food and merchandise, reward and recognition programs, exclusive park events, ride nights and free admission to any Six Flags park, including Carowinds.

Where: Carowinds Employment Center – 14609 Best Day Blvd Charlotte, NC 28273

When: Sat., Feb. 15 through Fri., Feb. 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

What: Carowinds will hire for all positions, including rides, lifeguards, food and beverage, admissions, entertainment, retail, park services, security and a variety of other exciting positions. The event is part of a large recruiting campaign by parent company, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN), to hire 50,000 team members across all its parks in North America.

Who: This session will provide an opportunity for candidates, as well as interested parents, to learn about the park’s different departments, positions and employee perks.
