CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Carolina Ascent FC, Charlotte’s professional women’s soccer team, kicks off the spring season with a home opener on Saturday, February 15th.
Carolina Ascent FC will take on Lexington SC at 7:00 p.m. at American Legion Memorial Stadium. It is the first of three consecutive home games to continue their inaugural season.
The soccer club finished the fall season with a 5-3-6 record, finishing third in the league.
Carolina Ascent FC added two new players – Riley Parker and Jenna Butler – to the squad.
Parker plays forward and was signed from Tampa Bay Sun FC. Meanwhile, Butler, a five-year player at NC State, signed to help strengthen the defense.
