CMPD Arrest Woman Accused Of Robbing Bank In Southeast Charlotte

UPDATE: Police say they arrested Shelly McClure for her involvement in the robbery of BB&T on Sardis Road North.  McClure has been charged with common law robbery.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are trying to identify a woman caught on surveillance during a bank robbery Monday afternoon.

According to reports, the woman robbed the BB&T on Sardis Road North around 4pm. Police say she approached an employee, handed them a note demanding money, and then took off.

The suspect is described as a white female, around 40-years-old, 5’3″, and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt.
