Former local nail salon tech facing more sexual assault charges

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – A former Huntersville nail salon tech is facing more sexual assault charges. Nhan Tran is accused of sexually assaulting customers. He’s now charged with 11 counts of sexual battery.

Investigators say Tran touched women inappropriately without their consent at Lee Nail Spa on West Catawba Avenue. According to court documents, women who have come forward say the assaults date back to March of 2022.

Police first arrested the 60-year-old on January 30th and then again on Wednesday. He is currently being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail.
