EDGE On The Clock: OJ Simpson Set To Plead For Parole
CHARLOTTE, NC — On Thursday, OJ Simpson will try and convince a Nevada parole board to let him out of prison.
Simpson has spent the last eight-and-a-half years in prison for his role in a 2007 robbery incident in a Las Vegas hotel room.
OJ was acquitted in a criminal trial for the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman in 1995. Two years later he was found liable for the murders in a civil trial and ordered to pay a total of $33.5 million to the victim’s families.
