Tonight: Increasing clouds. Lows near freezing.
Wednesday: Snow starts very early in the mountains. First pockets of snow arrive in Charlotte mid to late morning. It is possible the snow will evaporate before hitting the ground mid morning. The most widespread snow comes in the afternoon. Snow accumulations in Charlotte will likely be between a trace and an inch. Black ice concerns Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Thursday: Quick burst of snow possible Thursday morning. Clouds clear. Highs stay in the mid to upper 30s.
Friday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.
