BELMONT, NC — Police are searching for the suspect who robbed and shot a person Monday afternoon.
The incident happened in the parking lot of the Waffle House on Park Street. Police say the victim received non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the suspect and victim may have known each other, and do not believe this was a random crime.
